Additional comments This is a live recording of the fourth showcase that Mark Knopfler did to promote his new album Kill to get Crimson. After Berlin, Madrid and Amsterdam, Mark Knopfler performed an intimate showcase in London for a select audience of around 80 people. Songs were interspersed with short Q & A sessions with BBC Radio 2 DJ Simon Mayo. The showcase was recorded for BBC Radio 2 and broadcasted on the 19th of November on the program "The Music Club", presented by Simon Mayo. The showcase also featured the song Our Shangri-La (played before So far away) which was recorded but unfortunately not broadcasted. But... this soundboard recording amazingly found it's way outside the studio and is now added to this CD as a bonus track! Very nice to see Wild theme and So far away (in a version I personally like a lot more than the version from the previous tour!) in the setlist. Very nice showcase with a relaxed Mark Knopfler telling about the the person Rüdiger, the album and other things. Funny thing is that Simon likes the song Eastbound train very much and Mark played a small part of the intro for him! Soundboard recording with good sound quality.
