Additional comments A really unique and before unreleased concert from the Brothers in arms tour 1985/1986. This video was filmed by a cameraman who was with the band by the time Dire Straits played a few months in Australia and New Zealand at the end of the tour. He was shooting images for the big screens at the large stadiums and recorded this fantastic show. He shared his material which is really great. This 30 minutes video however has no sound. According to the filmer it was shot in New Zealand. But looking at the heavy rain and the poses of Mark Knopfler and Jack Sonni, it must be from Cairns in Australia. The evidence is the picture that was used across the The Cairns Post front page and also in Rolling Stone magazine. Copyright by Brian Cassey.

Mark was completely soaked and took off his shirt and continued playing without.
A really interesting video, let's hope the audio will also see the light of day someday.
